Doug Breidenbach has been involved in design and construction of superior buildings for over 25 years. After interning with several prominent firms, he founded his own firm in 1985 with the name style Breidenbach Cuen Architecture. This partnership, located in Santa Monica, designed numerous custom homes on the west side of Los Angeles. In addition, a number of commercial and industrial commissions were completed. Since 2003, Doug Breidenbach's practice has included designing numerous single family dwellings, multi-family projects, mixed use projects, and numerous commercial projects, as well as managing his support and CAD staff. During this time several of his clients requested contract administration services for larger projects such as a high rise condo project in Chicago as well as other major buildings in Boston, Pasadena, and other cities nationwide.

Doug Breidenbach holds a BA from UCLA, holds architectural licenses in California and Arizona, has a California Contractor's license, has served as a commissioner for the California Architects Board for 14 years, and participated in rewriting the building code to enhance building safety in the urban/wild land interface due to fire dangers. His work has been published in numerous books and periodicals.
